چکیده

Following Grischuk and Sidorov [Phys. Rev. D 42 (1990) 3413] in putting the Bogolubov-Hawking coefficient of Schwarzschild black-holes in the squeezing perspective, we provide a short discussion of Schwarzschild black holes as radiometric standards. In this work I will give arguments in favour of taking Schwarzschild black holes (SBH) as blackbody simulators, most probably the best ones. Even before the discovery of their " horizon " radiation, [1], SBHs might have been considered in the special class of " material " bodies in the Universe to be selected as blackbody simulators. In classical physics/relativity the horizon surface of a SBH absorbs all the radiation falling on it. This is nothing else but the common definition of a blackbody (i.e., absorptivity α = 1). The radiometric considerations to follow stem from the connections between the theory of " particle creation " in external fields and the quantum-mechanical theory of squeezed states. In the seminal paper [2], Grishchuk and Sidorov hinted on the close relationships of the two research fields, and they suggested the observed large-scale structure of the Universe to be just a strongly squeezed state of the zero-point quantum fluctuations of a cosmological scalar field. In the case of a scalar quantised field in the SBH gravitational field, a two-mode squeeze operator comes into play in order to relate the in-and out-vacuum. This is so because Hawking radiation is a manifestation of the decomposition of the field over travelling waves in a region with rather complicated causal structure, involving conditions on base fields not only at spatial

The phase transition of corrected black hole with f(R) gravity

In this letter, we consider static black hole in f(R) gravity. We take advantage from corrected entropy and temperature and investigate such black hole. Finally, we study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition of corrected black hole with respect to entropy and temperature. Here also, we obtain the heat capacity for the static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity. This calculation help us...

Calculation of the relativistic bulk tensor and shear tensor of relativistic accretion flows in the Kerr metric.

In this paper, we calculate the relativistic bulk tensor and shear tensor of the relativistic accretion ows in the Kerr metric, overall and without any approximation. We obtain the relations of all components of the relativistic bulk and shear tensor in terms of components of four-velocity and its derivatives, Christoffel symbols and metric components in the BLF. Then, these components are deri...

D ec 1 99 9 Thermodynamics of charged anti - de Sitter black holes in canonical ensemble

As in the grand canonical treatment of Reissner-Nordström black holes in anti-de Sitter spacetime, the canonical ensemble formulation also shows that non-extremal black holes tend to have lower action than extremal ones. However, some small non-extremal black holes have higher action, leading to the possibility of transitions between non-extremal and extremal black holes. Black hole thermodynam...

Low-mass black holes as the remnants of primordial black hole formation.

Bridging the gap between the approximately ten solar mass 'stellar mass' black holes and the 'supermassive' black holes of millions to billions of solar masses are the elusive 'intermediate-mass' black holes. Their discovery is key to understanding whether supermassive black holes can grow from stellar-mass black holes or whether a more exotic process accelerated their growth soon after the Big...
